Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written for the enquiry form on this site and for the analytics that measure how the site is used.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Thalang Family Village, the developer of the gated community of the same name in Thep Krasattri, Thalang, Phuket, Thailand.

For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights described in section 10, send us a request through the enquiry form on this site. Write "personal data" in the message so that it reaches the right person, and we will reply to the contact details you leave.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers this website and the enquiry form on it. It does not cover websites, advertising platforms or messengers operated by other companies, even when you reach them from a link on this site. Those services publish their own privacy notices, and we have no control over what they do with your data.

3. What personal data we collect

Data you give us. When you complete the enquiry form, we receive:

• the name you choose to give;
• your telephone number or Telegram username;
• the house model and architectural style you selected before opening the form.

We do not ask for your passport, address, financial details or any other document at this stage, and you should not send them through the form.

Data collected automatically. When you open a page, our analytics provider records technical information about the visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, screen size, approximate location derived from the IP address, the page you came from, the pages you opened, and the elements you clicked on.

4. Why we use it and on what basis

• Answering your enquiry: sending the presentation, floor plans and price of the house you selected, and continuing the conversation about it.

We do not use your data to make automated decisions that produce legal effects for you, and we do not build advertising profiles about you ourselves.

5. Cookies and analytics

The site uses Yandex Metrica, a web analytics service provided by Yandex. It sets cookies in your browser and processes the technical data listed in section 3 on servers operated by Yandex. We use it to count visits and to see which house models are clicked on most often. We do not use it to identify you personally.

The location section of the site embeds a map from Google Maps, provided by Google LLC. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its own privacy terms.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site remains usable without them; only the analytics stop working.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. Your data is accessible to:

• the people at Thalang Family Village who answer enquiries;
• the analytics and hosting providers named above, acting on our instructions;
• professional advisers, and public authorities, where the law requires disclosure.

7. Where your data is processed

We are based in Thailand, and enquiries are handled there. The analytics and map services named in section 5 are operated by companies outside Thailand and may process technical data on servers in other countries, including outside your own. Where such a transfer happens, it is based on your consent and on the terms those providers publish.

8. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it earlier or you become our customer, in which case the contract determines the retention period. Analytics data is kept for the period set by the analytics provider, currently up to 25 months. After that, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

9. How we protect it

Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to answer you. Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; we can guarantee that we take reasonable organisational and technical measures and that we will tell you if a breach affects you.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy of it;
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
• stop using your data for a purpose you object to;
• transfer your data to you or to another controller in a machine-readable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, which stops any further processing based on it but does not undo what was lawful before.

Send the request through the enquiry form on this site and we will answer within 30 days. Withdrawing consent costs nothing and needs no explanation; a single line saying you want your data deleted is enough.

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to the data protection authority of the country you live in.

11. Children

This site is addressed to adults buying property. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below the age of majority in their own country. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page and change the version number and date at the top. Material changes affecting data already collected will be notified to you directly where we have a way to reach you.
